Currently, Rising Champs is an out-of-network provider for commercial insurances. However, we accept Step Up For Students scholarship. Many private and public schools in the South Florida region offer this scholarship. It is available to Florida students ages 3 to 22, with the following diagnoses: Autism Spectrum Disorder, Muscular Dystrophy, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, orthopedic impairments, Prader-Willi Syndrome, Spina Bifida, rare diseases(defined by NORD), intellectual disability(cognitive impairment), visual impairment(blindness), identification as dual sensory impaired, Traumatic Brain Injury, hospital or homebound, and children ages 3-5 who are deemed high-risk due ro developmental delays. No, in person visits are provided in Broward and Miami-Dade Counties. Virtual sessions can be provided in the states of Florida, New York, and Pennsylvania.
Each visit differs depending on the service and needs of the child. Treatment sessions typically range anywhere from 30-60 minutes. Frequency can typically range from 1-3 sessions per week.
Yes, we provide home exercises and activities for parents to do with their child to reinforce the progress made during therapy sessions.
